Job Title: Valetor Responsible to: General Manager Main Purpose of Job: We currently recruiting for a Valetor to join the Connolly Motor Group, within the Valet team at Mercedes-Benz Galway.The successful candidate will berequired to work as part of the valet team to continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers. This will require you to continually strive to ensure the appropriate sales and service vehicles are in a first-class condition. You will also ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is continually attained, completing the work on time. Role Responsibilities: Prepares new and used vehicles for display/collectionEnsure all cars are washed and vacuumed thoroughly before being returned to the customerInspect the valeting bay on a regular basis and ensure work area is swept daily and kept clean and free from obstructionsProcesses appropriate dealership paperwork to ensure that the vehicle is correctly and fully prepared on timeDrive in a safe and courteous manner at all timesEnsure compliance with all environmental regulationsCompletes any other appropriate activities as specified by the Manager including all ad hoc driving dutiesEnsure general housekeeping and site maintenanceThe person: Skills and Competencies: Experience in a Valeting role is advantageous, external and internal training will be providedAbility to work in a teamAbility to work on own initiativeFull drivers license is essentialInterested in working in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail is fundamental to ensure quality is consistently deliveredContinuous improvement mindsetBe flexible in order to cater for changing business requirementsUndertake demanding physical work in a variety of weather conditions
