We are currently hiring for an experienced
LOTO Administrator
to join our team on a major power generation project based in Athlone. This is a critical role supporting the safe and effective execution of isolation procedures during construction, commissioning, and maintenance activities on a power plant project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the site's Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program in line with local and international safety regulations (OSHA, HSE, etc.)
* Maintain the Master LOTO Register, ensuring all isolation procedures and points are accurately documented and up to date
* Review and authorize LOTO permits for maintenance and project work
* Verify isolations are carried out correctly prior to work starting
* Coordinate group lockout activities for multi-disciplinary teams
* Provide support and training on LOTO procedures across the site
* Work closely with site teams to align isolation activities with overall project schedules
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and contribute to the overall safety culture on site
Essential Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar LOTO Administrator or Energy Isolation role within a power generation or heavy industrial environment
* Strong knowledge of LOTO procedures, permit-to-work systems, and energy isolation best practices
* Confident working with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced site environment
Desirable:
* Formal training or certification in LOTO systems
* Familiarity with electronic permit systems and strong documentation skills
* Background in commissioning or construction-phase project support
