For more information, please visit The Role: The Group Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, governance, and operations of the business in Ireland and the UK.
The successful candidate be responsible for building and managing a robust finance function, ensuring compliance with local regulations, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the group.
The successful candidate will play an active part of the management team.
Reporting directly to the Senior Management Team, they will assist and contribute to decisions on the future direction of the Group.
This will require engaging with a range of international stakeholders (both internal and external) which requires the successful candidate to have proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities for the Group (UK and IRL initially), whilst leading and supporting as appropriate key projects and initiatives to contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the company.
The successful candidate will also contribute to other functional areas critical to the success of the Group.
This will include leveraging expertise from third party providers in these areas as needed.
The range of areas are indicative but initially include areas such as human resources, technology and facilities management.
This exciting role will be the first managerial appointment within the Irish headquarters, with potential for professional development and progression for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities: Finance Lead and manage all financial operations across Ireland and the UK Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee consolidation of Group accounts, ensuring alignment with relevant financial reporting standards Develop and manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Partner with the leadership team to shape financial strategy, business plans, and funding needs.
Provide financial data and insights to support commercial management (e.g.
pricing, margin management etc) Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial governance.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (i.e.
Irish Revenue and UK HMRC) Manage external audit processes and relationships with accounting and legal advisors Provide day to day managerial oversight and supervision within the Irish headquarters Oversee the management of payroll and all ancillary processes Seek to continuously improve processes and controls through appropriate ICT deployment Lead and support the financial aspects of the Group's growth Perform additional responsibilities as reasonably required to support the team and business objectives.
Other Functional Areas: Below is a list of other functional areas that the role will support delivering: Human Resources: contribute to theeffective human resource management including workforce planning, develop and manage the administration of HR policies and procedures, recruitment, training and development, and employee relations.
Payroll: oversee the administration of payroll processes through outsourced service provider.
ICT: Developing and operating effective governance over all ICT systems and leading on ICT developments - including the local implementation of the Groups ERP system.
Facilities management: support the identification, selection and leasing process of a new office premises and, thereafter, ensuring the effective operation of same.
Support other functional areas as reasonably required to support the team and business objectives.
Experience a nd Qualification Requirements Essential Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline Qualified Accountant ( CPA/ACCA/ACA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE Business level proficiency in English and Mandarin (Verbal and Written) Excellent knowledge of operational financial activities within Ireland Experience of working with ERP systems Excellent proficiency with Microsoft packages, in particular Excel.
