Job Summary
Supply Chain Financial Analyst
– support the supply chain and leadership team through financial analysis and management of supply chain costs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage supply chain costs reporting, including freight and warehousing.
Take responsibility for and drive the quarterly budgeting process for supply chain costs.
Prepare monthly reports and analysis of supply chain costs.
Prepare, analyze and post journals at month-end.
Provide ad hoc financial information to management and other departments as required.
Reconcile SAP with Hyperion systems for various accounts and segments.
Develop new and streamline existing processes and systems to ensure efficient delivery of value-add information to stakeholders.
Develop automated reporting capability providing real-time performance insights.
Work closely with the Supply Chain operations team to keep costs aligned with budgets and investigate deviations.
Support ad hoc projects as required, ensuring compliance with local finance policies and procedures.
Act as an effective team player, driving efficiency and continuous improvement in the department.
Qualifications
Third-level finance-related degree or equivalent.
Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) desirable.
1–5years relevant experience, preferably with a shared service centre and multinational background.
Reporting and analytical experience essential.
ERP systems experience essential – SAP and Hyperion preferable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, summarise financial data, and present complex information.
Experience with cross-functional projects and large data sets; strong spreadsheet and database query skills (e.g., PowerBI) a plus.
Occasional travel may be required.
