Our 360° omni-channel approach includes a robust physical presence in over 500 retailers across eight countries and four flagship stores in the UK and Ireland. Our product portfolio includes over 140 makeup, skincare, and body products, all proudly certified by Leaping Bunny and recognized with 40+ industry awards. With an extensive range of complexion products offering over 100 foundation shades, Sculpted by Aimee is dedicated to celebrating real skin and promoting minimal retouching in our social media and campaigns.

Due to this exciting growth, Sculpted by Aimee are looking for a REGULATORY, COMPLIANCE AND RISK MANAGER to join the growing Operations based in Dublin or the UK. This hybrid role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential business risks to ensure the company's compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and ensuring product regulatory compliance across the product portfolio and new innovations, reporting to the head of Operations and Continuous improvement.

RISK MANAGEMENT

This role will create and manage risk management frameworks, monitor regulatory changes, create policies, collaborate with various teams & communicate with stakeholders to implement controls, and promote a risk-aware culture, including:

1.
Operational Risk

* Supply Chain – raw material shortages, logistics breakdown
* Manufacturing – quality control failures, contamination, batch recalls
* IT systems – e-commerce platform downtime, ERP downtime

2. Regulatory Risk

* Cosmetics regulations – ingredient bans, safety testing
* Advertising standards – misleading claims
* ESG and sustainability – packaging waste regulations, carbon disclosures

3. Reputational Risk

* Social Media
* Data Privacy breaches

4. External & Environmental Risk

* Macroeconomic, Geopolitical, Climate & Environmental

Regulatory Compliance

1. EU Market Compliance

2. Ensure ongoing compliance with EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009

3. Product Information File (PIF) and Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR)
4. CPNP notifications and product submissions
5. formulations, labels, and claims compliance with EU standards
6. Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to internal stakeholders
7. Lead preparation for HPRA Distributor and Responsible Person Audits

2.US Market Expansion

* Lead compliance efforts with US FDA cosmetic regulations, including the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA)
* facility registration and product listings with the FDA
* labelling, claims, and ingredient declarations compliance
* adverse event reporting & post-market surveillance
* potential OTC drug classification risks for borderline products

3.Global Market Support

* Research and interpret cosmetic regulations in target expansion markets (e.g., Canada, Australia, Latin America, Asia, Middle East)

SAFETY & quality Compliance

Implementing and maintaining quality systems (e.g., GMP) to ensure consistent product quality, and effective management of customer complaints or adverse event reporting. Overseeing product safety assessments and ensuring compliance with cosmetic safety regulations, toxicological requirements, and ingredient standards across global markets.

* Support sustainable business practices by minimizing waste, promoting responsible sourcing, and reducing environmental impact.
* Foster a diverse, inclusive, and ethical workplace while contributing to our community initiatives both internally and externally.
* Uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability in all business practices.

* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with a variety of stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills, and ability to anticipate issues and provide solutions
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment, brining a strong sense of urgency and commitment to speed to market.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field.
* 4-5+ years of regulatory affairs experience in cosmetics, personal care, or related industries.
* Experience in FMCG risk frameworks covering operational, reputational, financial, and external risks.
* Familiarity with corporate governance, ESG risks, and external stakeholder management.
* Professional certifications in Risk Management, Business Administration, or Compliance will be advantageous
* Strong knowledge of international cosmetic regulations (EU Cosmetics Regulation, FDA, ASEAN, etc.).
* Experience preparing and managing PIFs, CPSRs, and product notifications.
* Project management experience
