This role involves operating air freight services and coordinating with airlines to secure efficient shipping options.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and monitor air shipment bookings from start to finish.
* Provide professional customer support to both internal and external clients.
* Establish effective communication with airlines to achieve the best possible rates and transit times.
* Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely collections and airfreight shipment processing.
* Label export shipments accurately and manage sales and purchase invoices efficiently.
* Manage rate requests, quotations, and develop airfreight services effectively.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2–5 years' experience in a similar freight forwarding position is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Multitasking ability and high attention to detail are necessary for success.
A team player is desired.
