Job Title: Healthcare Theatre Assistant
Theatre Assistants work closely with nursing teams and consultants in a fast-paced theatre environment to provide exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include preparing theatres for surgery, assisting in the transfer of patients, ensuring cleanliness and sterility, and supporting surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare theatres for surgery by setting up equipment, checking supplies, and maintaining a clean environment
* Assist in transferring patients to and from theatre, ensuring their safety and comfort
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sterility in theatres, including cleaning equipment, furniture, and floors
* Support surgical procedures by holding limbs, shaving operation sites, and positioning patients
* Transport patients to recovery areas and assist with post-procedure care
Requirements:
