The role PE Global are currently recruiting for a PART TIME Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join a charity organisation based in Cork. This is an initial 3-month contract role Duties of the role Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including purchase and sales invoice processing and bank reconciliations. Ensure accurate coding and posting of transactions on XERO accounting software. Process creditor payments and carry out credit control functions. Prepare and complete monthly bank reconciliations. Assist in the preparation and processing of month-end accounts. Support the statutory audit process through preparation and provision of documentation. Respond to financial queries from members and liaise on financial administration as required. To maintain accurate financial records and provide timely, reliable financial information to support the Operations Manager and Branch Treasurer in effective decision-making. Attend monthly meetings with branch Finance Committee. Preparation of budgets for discussion with branch Finance Committee. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as requested by management. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Support the Operations Manager with financial data to inform strategic and operational decisions. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies. Engage with staff and members in a consistently professional and respectful manner. Any other tasks and duties as requested by management to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission and support our organizational values Experience and Education required At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role Experience with XERO Accounting software is essential for this role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the successful candidate will actively engage with members, families and stakeholders Work as part of a team reporting to the Operations Manager Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.
