We are looking for Clinical nurse Manager 2-Medical Ward to our hospital in Dublin.
Contract Type: Permanent Full-Time Responsibilities Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring best practice standards and optimal patient outcomes.
Provide strong clinical and professional leadership, overseeing the coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Ensure all nursing practices comply with professional guidelines, legislation, and organisational policies, maintaining high standards of safety and care.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and carers to support care planning, communication, and service delivery.
Manage patient flow, including caseload management, admission, discharge, and transition of care across services.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, confidentiality, and ethical standards while supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee risk management, health and safety compliance, infection control, and incident reporting in line with regulatory standards.
Support staff development through education, training, supervision, and performance management, fostering a positive learning environment.
Manage resources, staffing, and departmental operations efficiently, including budgeting, workforce planning, and service delivery.
Lead service development, quality improvement, audits, and policy implementation while promoting innovation, teamwork, and a culture of respect and accountability.
Requirements Registered General Nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting within the last 9 years.
At least 2 years' experience at Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) level.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical ward within a multidisciplinary team environment.
