As a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer, you will be part of McKesson’s IAM team. You will design, configure, deploy, and operate authentication solutions in areas such as Single Sign‑On (SSO), Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA), and IAM orchestrations. Your work will involve collaborating with business and technical partners to deliver complex authentication solutions, troubleshoot issues, and scale authentication infrastructure.
Essential Responsibilities and Functions:
* Deliver modern authentication solutions for B2B, B2C, and B2E customers using tools such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
* Collaborate with business and technical partners to integrate systems and provide IDP resiliency.
* Maintain experience with Okta Classic, Okta Identity Engine (OIE), or equivalent technologies.
* Develop authentication workflows and configure SSO and MFA for internal and external applications.
* Lead discussions on authentication policies and standards with stakeholders.
* Review design and code, perform quality inspections, and ensure adherence to McKesson engineering practices.
* Conduct Proofs of Concept (PoC) to evaluate technologies for organizational needs.
Qualifications: Experience/Skill:
* Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience.
* Industry experience in Identity and Access Management.
* Hands‑on experience developing and configuring authentication solutions using Okta, Auth0, Azure/Entra ID, PingFederate, etc.
* Experience establishing and improving IAM resiliency solutions.
* Integration experience with SSO using SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, and WS‑FED.
* Experience federating IDM technologies across multiple domains.
* Understanding of enterprise identity infrastructure and core security concerns in cloud and on‑premises environments.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ownership mindset.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience/Skill:
* Experience with federating IDM technologies.
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Okta, or Azure.
Education: 4‑year degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
Compensation: Base pay range €70,500 – €117,500, plus bonuses and long‑term incentive opportunities as applicable.
