This role focuses on winning new business across a wide range of technical and industrial sectors where Salt products are used in water treatment, process optimisation, cleaning systems, and industrial applications.This is a hunter-style commercial role, requiring strong technical sales ability, solution selling, and the capability to engage with plant managers, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business development for Salt solutions across IrelandOwn the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, negotiation, and closingBuild and manage a strong pipeline of industrial and enterprise customersDevelop tailored solutions based on customer process and technical requirementsEngage with technical, operational, and executive stakeholdersDeliver presentations, demonstrations, and value-based proposalsWork closely with engineering, technical support, and operations teamsMaintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM disciplineRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferencesAchieve and exceed revenue and margin targetsRequired Experience & Skills5+ years’ experience in B2B technical or industrial salesStrong background in solution selling or consultative salesExperience selling into industrial, manufacturing, or process-driven environmentsAbility to engage engineers, plant operators, and procurement teamsStrong commercial negotiation and closing skillsProven track record of exceeding sales targetsHighly self-motivated and comfortable working a national territoryStrong technical understanding (or ability to quickly learn complex processes)Full clean driving licenceDesirable ExperienceWater treatment, chemicals, industrial gases, or process engineering salesExperience in regulated industries (pharma, food, beverage, utilities)Existing network in Irish industrial or manufacturing sectors
