Health Economist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Health Economist to join our team. As a Health Economist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing economic models to support drug development, health technology assessment, and clinical decision-making.
* Develop and adapt economic models to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of healthcare interventions;
* Analyze data from multiple sources to inform model development and parameter estimation;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely model development and report preparation;
* Distinguish between critical and irrelevant pieces of scientific information during project scoping and execution;
* Gather relevant information from various sources and generate insights with supervision;
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Analysis: Conduct quality checks to ensure data accuracy in economic models;
* Economic Modelling: Develop and maintain economic models using MS Excel with Visual Basics;
* Document Preparation: Plan, write, edit, review, and coordinate the adaptation of economic models, technical reports, and HTA documents;
* Communication: Effectively communicate complex scientific information to internal and external partners;
Requirements:
* Masters in Health Economics or equivalent preferred;
* At least 1-2 years of experience/knowledge in health outcomes research;
* Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills;
* Able to adapt to diverse interpersonal styles;
* Strong attention to detail and customer focus;
* Good problem-solving skills and comprehension and communication skills;
