Responsibilities
Provide Occupational Therapy services for young people 0–18 years and their families, including assessment and intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service development within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will be delivered through a family‑centred approach across settings such as clinics, preschools, schools, child homes and community environments.
Qualifications and Experience
Professional registration on the Occupational Therapist Register maintained by the Occupational Therapist Registration Board at CORU.
Three years full‑time (or aggregate of three years) post‑qualification clinical experience.
Evidence of statutory registration prior to employment.
Annual registration maintained and confirmation with CORU.
Eligibility to work in the State.
Minimum one year post‑qualification experience working with families and children with physical disabilities or developmental delays.
Experience working with children 0–18 years and their families.
Experience and/or training in clinical supervision.
Minimum two years’ experience in a children’s disability service.
Experience of multi‑interdisciplinary team working.
Experience supervising students or therapy assistants.
