Design Engineer - Mechanical Equipment Specialist
We are seeking a technically skilled Design Engineer to contribute to the next generation of world-class equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the full product lifecycle from concept to production, focusing on robustness and manufacturability.
* Utilize 3D CAD software to design new components and modify existing product assemblies for equipment and booms.
* Generate and manage detailed manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical specifications.
* Assist in the construction, testing, and validation of prototypes, including field tests, to ensure designs meet performance and quality standards.
* Work closely with the workshop and production teams to resolve design issues during the fabrication and assembly process.
* Evaluate all designs for compliance with relevant machinery safety standards and regulations.
Candidate Profile & Compensation:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and 2D drawing.
* Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and fabrication techniques.
* A practical, hands-on approach and an interest in heavy machinery.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Salary Range: €35,000-€40,000 per annum (Depending on experience and academic qualifications)
