Position: Equity Analyst - Family Office, Dublin
A Dublin-based Family Office is expanding its team and seeking an Equity Analyst to help manage its portfolio of direct equity investments in listed securities.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to step into a principal or buy-side investment role, joining a small, collaborative, and fast-growing team with a flat organizational structure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of potential direct equity investments
- Assess the risk/reward profile of investment opportunities
- Collect and process key financial and market data
- Develop valuations based on different scenarios (bear, base, and bull cases)
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., CEOs, CFOs, analysts, brokers)
- Monitor and review ongoing information related to investments
- Utilize Bloomberg terminals and other market research tools
- Offer informed opinions on existing and potential investments
- Assist with legal due diligence for specific equity investments
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong passion for financial markets and equity investments
- Background in one or more of the following areas:
- Equity Research
- Corporate Finance
- Equity Sales & Trading
- Private Wealth Management
- Family Office Investing
- ACA/CFA/CIMA qualifications are advantageous but not required
- Strong technical skills in financial analysis and valuation
- Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working independently with a strong work ethic
