Summary
The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government. It manages a portfolio of public assets and liabilities, including the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and related entities.
Role Summary
This is an opportunity for a graduate to join the ISIF Climate Investment division on a 23-month Associate Programme commencing in September 2026. The programme is open to graduates with a degree in Finance/Economics/Commerce/Accounting or a related discipline.
ISIF Summary
The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) sources and completes investments on a commercial basis to support economic activity and employment in Ireland. ISIF focuses on long-term transformational investments addressing climate action, housing and enabling infrastructure, scaling indigenous businesses, and food and agriculture. There are three functions/teams within ISIF: Investment, Portfolio Management and Operations. The role will be part of the ISIF Climate team and will support the team through day-to-day duties and collaborate with colleagues across ISIF activities. The Climate Investment role provides development opportunities with exposure to the investment process from deal delivery to monitoring throughout its lifecycle.
All ISIF team members remain flexible to respond to the dynamic ISIF mandate, which may require applying skills to other investment types from time to time.
Principal Accountabilities
* Provide support on all aspects of the development and execution of proposed investments
* Project management of transactions throughout their lifecycle
* Create detailed investment papers analysing key features of companies/proposed investments
* Conduct company and industry research
* Contribute to financial statement analysis and assist with valuations
* Financial modelling skills would be an advantage, including reviewing/building financial projections
* Contribute to investment strategy, markets and economic analysis (may involve new sectors/markets with no prior experience required)
* Work collaboratively with investees, co-investors, partners, service providers and other stakeholders
On completion of the programme, the successful graduate will have developed knowledge across ISIF elements, including portfolio management and investment processes, with broader NTMA context.

Requirements and Supporting Information
* Minimum 2.1 honours degree or minimum 2.1 Masters, ideally in a related discipline
* Eligible to work in Ireland (Irish Citizen, EEA Citizen, Stamp 4, Stamp 1G Visa)
