Our client a leading organisation in the Professional Services area are seeking a highly motivated Payroll and Finance Administrator to join their busy Finance department on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of payroll and providing support to the wider finance function.
Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Working closely with the Payroll Manager to process payroll for employees across multiple locations and jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant legal and company policies.
Maintaining up-to-date payroll records, including exemptions, insurance, deductions, and job titles.
Calculating and processing various payroll deductions, such as taxes and benefits.
Responding effectively to employee inquiries regarding payroll deductions and addressing any related concerns.
Collaborating with the Human Resources and Finance teams to guarantee timely and precise payroll processing.
Providing assistance with year-end payroll processing activities.
Undertaking ad hoc payroll analysis and generating reports as required by Payroll, Finance, or HR.
Assisting with the processing and payment of supplier invoices.
Preparing supplier account reconciliations.
Undertaking other ad hoc duties as required to support the team.
Skills and Experience Required: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
