Artemis Human Capital is working in partnership with a successful business based near Drogheda to appoint a Cost Controller for their growing team. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be involved in streamlining and improving current processes, preparing product costings and KPI reporting.

The Role:
Business Partnering
* Provide operational and financial support to senior leadership on a daily basis.
* Influence decision making through detailed financial analysis of capital investments, cost-saving opportunities, and innovation projects.
Operational Performance Reporting
* Work with senior management and production leadership to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
* Communicate performance across all levels, from investors to factory teams, including preparing and presenting non-financial KPIs.
* Enhance KPI reporting to improve operational insight and factory efficiency.
* Analyse and report on manufacturing performance and productivity.
* Design and implement a detailed line and product efficiency model.
Product Costings and Gross Margin Analysis
* Maintain complete accuracy of bills of materials at product level.
* Manage gross margin analysis by product and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Support the development and use of a robust costing tool for new product launches.
* Deliver weekly and monthly gross margin reports and reconcile performance between financial accounts and commercial reporting.
The Person:
* CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified accountant with relevant experience
* Strong commercial acumen
* Analytical with a strong costing focus
* Ability to communicate with key stakeholders across all business areas
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
