Constellation Healthcare is hiring experienced Senior Psychologists (Clinical, Educational or Counselling) to join our forward-thinking, progressive service in permanent, hybrid roles (35-hour week, three days on-site in North County Dublin).

Operational & Clinical Support

Scheduling is managed for you, your Regional Manager will handle all bookings and family communication.

The successful Senior Psychologist will work primarily in paediatric assessment and intervention, delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological services to children and their families. Reporting to the Principal Psychologist, you will have a high level of professional autonomy over your clinical work while contributing actively to a collaborative, multidisciplinary service.
As a Senior Psychologist, you will:

Deliver a high-quality psychological assessment and intervention service to children and families within your allocated caseload, exercising professional judgement and autonomy in clinical decision-making.
Plan, conduct and interpret comprehensive psychological assessments, integrating findings with multidisciplinary colleagues to inform outcomes and recommendations.
Lead the assessment process, coordinating input from the MDT and ensuring timely, child-centred and clinically robust assessments.
Participate fully in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing psychological expertise to case formulation, recommendations and service planning.
Prepare and complete clear, high-quality psychological and summary reports, communicating assessment outcomes and recommendations effectively to families and professionals.
Provide clinical leadership within the psychology service, supporting best practice, reflective clinical work and high professional standards.
Collaborate closely with the Principal Psychologist and MDT colleagues while maintaining autonomy over your own clinical work and caseload management.
Contribute to the development, evaluation and enhancement of innovative services and programmes, ensuring services remain evidence-based, responsive and child-centred.

Eligibility Criteria:
Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology
Or
An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. Application for this post must be inclusive of letter of validation.
And
Demonstrate expertise in working conducting paediatric assessments, along with a strong understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and family-centred practice.

Exhibit a high level of suitability for effectively fulfilling the responsibilities of the role.
A minimum of 3 years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which is spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist
Be eligible to work in Ireland.
Strong proficiency in writing clear, concise, and well-structured reports is essential.
