Due to continued expansion, they are seeking two Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their engineering team on a permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who are confident working across both mechanical and electrical disciplines within a fast‑paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machineryDiagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtimeMaintain and support a range of automated and semi‑automated equipmentWork closely with production teams to ensure maximum machine efficiencyEnsure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and food hygiene standardsSupport continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiativesEssential Skills & ExperienceRecognised mechanical and electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)Proven experience as a multi‑skilled engineer in a manufacturing environmentStrong electrical fault‑finding skills (control panels, motors, sensors, inverters)Solid mechanical maintenance experience (conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics)Experience with PPM systems and breakdown maintenanceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience in food manufacturing or FMCGAwareness of GMP, HACCP, and hygiene standardsPLC fault‑finding experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred)Experience with packaging machinery or automated production lines Personal AttributesStrong problem‑solving and diagnostic skillsProactive, flexible, and reliable approach to workAble to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills in a production environment To apply or for further confidential discussion, please contact Reed Recruitment, who are representing this vacancy on behalf of our client, or submit your CV via the \"Apply\" link
