Commercial Finance Manager
The role of Commercial Finance Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, requiring a unique blend of financial acumen and business insight. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance through the provision of high-quality financial analysis, strategic insights, and decision support.
Main Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand business drivers and provide timely financial support and reporting.
• Conduct detailed commercial analysis of trends, customers, and products, including tender and contract review, modeling, and transaction/opportunity analysis.
• Support the financial integration of acquisitions, reviewing new entity processes across financial reports, tax, and commercial finance.
Mergers and Acquisitions:
We are seeking an individual who can effectively manage the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your expertise in financial control, process improvement, and risk management will be invaluable in this regard.
Reporting and Financial Control:
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting monthly business reporting packs to tight deadlines, providing financial insights to drive positive business outcomes. Your attention to detail and ability to identify risks and opportunities will ensure accurate and timely month-end closes.
Audit and Compliance:
Your experience in working with entity finance teams to deliver Group audit requirements, both internal and external, will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of financial governance. You will also review entity statutory accounts and oversee the divisional risk register, finance governance manual, and accounting policies.
Continuous Improvement:

Your ability to roll out project plans and manage implementation across worldwide entities will be critical in ensuring strong foundations of financial control and common processes across all entities.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
1. A qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years PQE
2. Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
3. High level of computer literacy, preferably with SAP
4. Experience in financial controls and procedures
5. Ability to work in ever-evolving and growing environments, adapting to changing priorities
