The Role
We're seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – Principal Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale, high-performance systems. This is a senior technical leadership role, working across multiple products and domains to create robust, scalable, and secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architect and deliver large-scale, cloud-native solutions with high performance, reliability, and security.
2. Provide technical leadership, setting engineering direction and best practices.
3. Design and implement solutions on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS/ECS, and other services.
4. Collaborate with product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to align architecture with business objectives.
5. Mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
6. Lead complex problem-solving initiatives with a strategic mindset.
Requirements
7. 10+ years in software development/architecture, with 4+ years in a senior or lead architect role.
8. Prior experience working with healthcare standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) in a regulated environment (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
9. Proven experience designing enterprise-scale, cloud-native systems.
10. Deep expertise in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS/ECS).
11. Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
12. Solid knowledge of design patterns, SDLC best practices, and modern software architecture.
13. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
14. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
15. Minimum stamp 4 Visa
Preferred Skills
16. Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability in cloud environments.
17. Knowledge of data governance, security architecture, and compliance.
