Senior & Staff Grade Clinical Psychologists – Children's Primary Care
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in Galway City and East Galway, providing psychological assessments and therapeutic support to children and young people.
The successful candidate will have the chance to develop child-centred treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions for emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns.
* Develop tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
* Deliver individual and group-based psychological therapies to promote positive outcomes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
* Engage in professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in child mental health.
Requirements:
* Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology.
* Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
* Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based assessment and therapeutic models.
* Excellent clinical skills, including assessment, formulation, and treatment planning.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
