We’re hiring a Contracts Manager to join our Energy & Industrial division at Designer Group.
This is a senior delivery role with full ownership of multiple live projects. You’ll lead from the front driving programme, managing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
You’ll work across complex environments including power, utilities, and industrial infrastructure, with responsibility for both operational delivery and commercial performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead multiple projects/contracts concurrently
Take full responsibility for programme, cost, quality and delivery
Manage senior site teams (Project Managers, Engineers, QS, Supervisors)
Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and contract execution
Drive commercial performance alongside the Quantity Surveying team
Ensure strong cost control, reporting and forecasting across projects
Lead design coordination, value engineering and technical delivery
Ensure all HSE standards are implemented and upheld
Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
Contribute to business development and future pipeline growth
What We’re Looking For
10+ years’ experience in M&E contracting (Energy / Industrial preferred)
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
Experience managing large site teams and senior stakeholders
Ability to operate at pace in high-pressure project environments
