Job Title: Principal Construction Cost Controller
CSS is working with a leading Civil Engineering contractor seeking a highly experienced Principal Construction Cost Controller. This role will involve managing the financial aspects of a new highway and infrastructure project, with direct report to the Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of detailed cost estimates
* Raising purchase orders
* Recovery of value on the project
Requirements:
* Professional degree in a related field or equivalent qualification
* Extensive experience in a Commercial/Construction Cost Control role at senior level
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procedures
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
