Senior Hospital Manager
This leadership role requires a high-calibre individual with a proven achievement record in service delivery, change management, leadership, operational excellence and strategic alliances.
* Responsibilities:
* Lead the effective running of the hospital, with a twin focus on strategic management issues and day-to-day operations.
* Act as head of service with responsibility for managing the hospital, liaising with senior management and collaborating with external bodies.
* Create and maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders, including insurers and other customers.
* Develop and implement a five-year strategic plan covering capital development, service initiatives and future clinical arrangements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A third-level degree in healthcare or business management.
* Four to eight years' experience in a senior management position, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement change effectively.
* An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and motivate others.
