Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Project Engineer to join our team in Kilkenny. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to contribute to major civil, road, and transportation projects.
The successful candidate will play a key part in the preparation and delivery of design projects from feasibility studies through to detailed design procurement contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare review feasibility preliminary designs reports Produce detailed contract drawings using MX Roads Civil 3D Liaise with clients stakeholders regulatory authorities Manage procurement sub-consultants site investigations road contracts including pricing schedules bills quantities Prepare assess tenders administer construction contracts Ensure projects delivered on time specification within budget.
Requirements
* Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering Engineers Ireland accredited equivalent Advantage Level 9 Master's Degree qualification5+ years relevant experience civil roads transportation projects Proficiency AutoCAD MS Office MX Roads Civil 3D Excellent written verbal English communication skills Strong interpersonal stakeholder management skills Desirable Knowledge TII Publications DMURS Irish design standards Experience contract administration tender processes Own transport is not required as public transport links are excellent between all locations employees prefer car pooling or cycling whenever possible but this will be discussed during interview.
