Catering Assistant – South Dublin
Catering Assistant – South Dublin to join a busy healthcare facility. This is a rewarding frontline role where you’ll support patient care through nutritious meal preparation and delivery.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve meals and drinks to patients and staff.
* Deliver meals to wards and assist patients during mealtimes.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchens, equipment, and utensils.
* Follow HACCP food safety and infection control procedures.
* Stock ward pantries and rotate food supplies correctly.
* Work closely with catering and ward teams to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
* 6–12 months’ catering or kitchen experience (healthcare experience an advantage).
* Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
* Legal right to work in Ireland & Garda Vetting clearance.
* Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
* Team player with flexibility and strong communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
* €17.35/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
* Full-time hours: 7 AM – 6:30 PM for a balanced work-life schedule.
