Join us as a BAM Sales Manager
The purpose of this role is to manage and lead a high-performing Business Account Management (BAM) team to drive excellent customer relationships, revenue growth, and retention of the existing Three SME customer base across all SME product lines.
What it involves:
* Work with the SME Retention & In Life Manager to set, manage, and exceed individual and team targets.
* Manage the Account Management team in line with company objectives.
* Plan, organize, and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals against dynamic targets.
* Support the development and execution of the overall SME strategy.
* Collaborate with the 3CS/IOT department to drive growth and exceed budget targets.
* Lead by example to develop a partnership approach with customers and handle complaints.
* Build strategic relationships with larger customers, engaging with C-level executives to understand their goals and offer tailored solutions.
* Ensure sales commission models are compliant and aligned with business strategy.
* Increase and maintain the productivity of the sales teams through Salesforce reporting and insights.
* Adopt a data-centric approach to manage the customer base, focusing on re-signing and growth.
* Recruit, lead, challenge, and develop a high-performance team of Business Account Managers.
* Manage daily team operations including escalations, absenteeism, underperformance, and policies.
* Create processes to support the team, including the use of new technologies.
* Drive customer satisfaction and work with Business Care to enhance the customer experience.
* Embed a high-performance coaching culture within your team.
* Coordinate with L&D for benchmarking and training initiatives.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Base Management teams to provide market feedback and suggest product or messaging changes.
* Develop strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
* Conduct regular sales meetings and 1-on-1s with team members.
* Report regularly on team progress against targets.
Skills required:
* Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in sales management.
* Experience working with large medium/enterprise customers.
* Proven people management skills, including coaching, objective setting, and performance management.
* Track record of achieving results and overcoming obstacles.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
* Sales planning expertise.
* Ability to build relationships at C-suite level internally and externally.
* Proactive, initiative-driven individual.
* Excellent coaching skills.
* Energy and maturity to lead inter-departmental teams.
* Tenacity, creative thinking, and results focus.
