About The Role
The Regional Director of Security Operations (RDSO) leads and develops security operations across a large multinational datacenter client within the EMEA region. This senior leadership role oversees multi‑disciplinary teams and ensures consistent delivery of safe, compliant, and high‑performing security services. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, global partners, and internal leadership to strengthen operational excellence, enhance safety culture, and support long‑term growth. The RDSO is instrumental in shaping regional strategy, driving operational improvements, and ensuring the security program consistently meets the highest standards.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will lead regional security teams and ensure they operate cohesively to deliver effective datacenter security services. You will drive strategic priorities, streamline processes, and act as a trusted advisor to the client. Key responsibilities include oversight of manned guarding operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs, KPIs, SLAs, and contractual requirements, and producing high‑quality performance and project reporting. You will guide regional initiatives, promote collaboration across global business groups, and use data and analytics to inform decision‑making. The role also includes preparing executive‑level presentations, supporting crisis and incident response when required, and ensuring the region operates effectively in a 24/7 environment.
What You Need To Apply
We're looking for a senior leader with a bachelor's degree in business, management, security, or a related field, or equivalent experience. You should have 10‑15 years of progressive leadership experience within physical security, contract security, or large‑scale operations, including at least 3‑5 years in a director‑level position. Strong communication skills, the ability to engage confidently with senior executives, and experience building strong partner relationships are essential. You must be comfortable in a fast‑paced, 24/7 operational environment, willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed, and prepared to support after‑hours operations during critical events. You should bring comprehensive knowledge of security operations, SOPs, people management, project leadership, and operational planning.
