Accounts Assistant – Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate
MHL Hotel Collection currently requires a Junior Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts professional to further develop their career.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working in an Accounts Department preferably in a hotel industry.
* Must have knowledge of and willingness to assist in all accounting functions as assigned and to cover the vacation of colleagues in the accounting department.
* Must be willing to move in rotation through various accounting functions and properties.
* Knowledge and ability to operate computer equipment, Microsoft Office, and Excel. Previous experience with hotel systems including Hotsoft and Volante is beneficial but not vital.
* Strong communication skills to deliver accurate information.
Responsibilities
* Audit all income generated by the hotel and produce reports for distribution.
* Reconciliation of daily cash receipts, credit card receipts, and vouchers.
* Supplier payments processing and all associated tasks.
* Daily reporting of all corrections and adjustments and circulation of the report to relevant management.
* Manage accounts receivable issues: issue invoices / chase creditor payments.
* Assist with month end stocktakes.
* Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
