Job Title
The Surveillance Nurse Manager III is a key position responsible for leading and coordinating surveillance activities in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support infection prevention strategies.
* Develop and maintain local protocols to ensure best practice information is up-to-date.
* Manage accurate databases and contribute to clinical governance meetings to drive quality improvement initiatives.
* Identify trends, clusters, and outbreaks, and escalate findings to the IPC team to inform decision-making.
This role will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve infection control goals, providing training and education to clinical staff on surveillance definitions, documentation, and infection prevention practices.
