Role Overview
The primary role is to manage Clare properties and transport fleet in line with the ethos and policies of Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, ensuring the needs of the organisation, people supported and staff are met within budgets and environmental, health and safety, fire and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, source, safeguard, refurbish and maintain Clare properties and motor vehicles.
Ensure all activities comply with budgets, environmental protection, health and safety legislation, fire and building regulations.
Coordinate related services to support the organisation and people supported.
Oversee transport fleet, travel arrangements and driver management.
Qualifications & Experience
Full Corporate Member of a recognised professional institute (e.g. Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland, Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, Engineers Ireland) or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Building Technology, Architecture, Building Surveying, Facilities Management, or similar disciplines.
Familiarity with Health and Safety legislation and procurement law.
Experience in transport management desirable but not essential.
Minimum five years' relevant experience in a similar organisation or facilities role.
Strong technical competence, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent IT, managerial, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex workload, organise time effectively.
Clean, full driving licence.
