Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management and be able to lead a team of operatives to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

* Responsible for the overall operation of the site, including all aspects of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ).
* Work closely with the contracts manager to ensure adherence to the construction programme and effective sequencing of trades to maximize quality and minimize reworking.
* Liaise with clients and report on daily progress, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of project status.
* Supervise on-site contracted staff and manage sub-contractors and labour staff to achieve project goals.
* Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure that construction and site safety protocols are always followed.
* Prepare site reports for submission to the contracts manager, highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
* Monitor project progress against weekly and monthly deadlines, taking corrective action as necessary to maintain momentum.
* Ensure that work processes comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
* Collaborate with the company buyer to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
* Liaise with design team members to ensure accurate collation of BCAR handover and compliance documentation.

Requirements

* Demonstrable experience in dealing with local authority connections and Irish Water requirements for installations and connections.
* Experience in delivering residential housing schemes, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
* Strong knowledge of timberframe residential schemes and proficiency in QA checks from sub-structure to superstructure and internal fit-out packages.
* Candidates should have 5+ years site management experience and hold a valid driving license.
* First aider training and relevant CSR/CSCS trainer certification is desirable.
