Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced process optimization engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple significant engineering projects through our project management office.
* Provide technical leadership from an engineering perspective, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
* Continuously improve the performance of processes by analyzing inefficiencies and implementing sustainable solutions.
* Support process development and advanced operations on technology development and application within manufacturing.
* Implement lean manufacture principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
* Interface with materials science, design, and quality assurance departments to ensure the delivery of a quality product in a timely manner.
* Validate equipment and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and external agents.
* Analyze issues, identify root causes of failures, and ensure timely resolution.
* Complete Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), review, and support the development of Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), equipment manuals, etc.
* Implement procedures for new processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
* Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input from a testability and automation perspective.
Requirements:
* Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent technical experience.
* Proven project management skills through the delivery of business critical projects.
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic, and results-driven environment.
* Demonstrable strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrable ability to work autonomously.
* A team player with a flexible approach.
* Confident and effective decision-maker with proven technical leadership ability to negotiate and influence others.
