Exciting opportunity for early-career professionals with experience in professional services or structured delivery environments to join Carne’s Change Delivery team as a Junior Project Manager.
In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic change initiatives across Carne’s client and internal programmes. Working alongside senior project managers and stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with governance and regulatory standards. You will contribute to project tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement — enabling effective decision-making and successful outcomes.

Carne is now recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join its Change Delivery team. Ideal candidates will be organised, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their careers in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. This role is particularly suited to individuals with experience in professional services or structured delivery environments who are curious about how change is delivered in the funds industry and want to contribute to meaningful transformation initiatives from day one.
What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
* A recognised qualification in Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* Experience in a structured, client-facing environment — ideally within professional services or similar.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with project tools such as JIRA, MS Project, PowerBI, or other data visualisation tools is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
* Comfortable working with data sets, performing basic data manipulation, and interpreting analytical outputs to support decision-making.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
* Supporting the planning and coordination of project activities and timelines.
* Maintaining project documentation, trackers, and status reports.
* Assisting in the preparation of governance packs and stakeholder updates.
* Monitoring risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalating where appropriate.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
* Supporting post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
