Job Title: Project Estimator
As a seasoned project estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to estimate costs for various civil engineering projects, including road resurfacing, house construction, and renewable energy initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Estimating costs for live projects
* Assisting with tendering processes, including quantity checking and procurement at project stage
* Preparing monthly payment applications and variation submissions
* Cost control on live projects
* Developing comprehensive construction budgets and claims
Requirements:
* Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics
* Familiarity with CostX software advantageous
* Minimum 3+ years' experience as a QS with main/sub-contractor or PQS consultancies
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Effective team player
