They prepare dishes according to company recipes, and ensure that all dishes are made to company specifications, using diverse methods of preparation.What's this job going to feel like for you?Being a Handsome Burger Line Chef requires multitasking, organisation, and a love for creating great food. You are a key member of the Back of House team, making sure every order is made correctly, quickly and is up to Handsome Burger standard. Before service you are setting up your station, making sure everything is prepared and ready for a smooth service. During service you are building burgers from base to top, cooking fries and tenders; making sure every docket is made to specification and all food safety guidelines are followed. After service you clean down your station, making sure all checklists are complete. You're constantly supporting your BOH team members by communicating, observing and offering help; keeping your station clean, and most importantly, preparing unforgettable meals.Responsibilities and Duties - non negotiablesPrepare a variety of food, adhering to specific prep, handling procedures, and plate presentation.Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.Prevent cross-contamination and follow HACCP procedures.Properly execute recipe procedures while maintaining a high-quality and consistent product.Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by cleaning and sanitising throughout the shift.Communicate ticket times and potential problems with the Supervisor, Manager, and Servers.Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations as necessary, following checklists.Break down, and clean the station or work area at the end of the shift, following checklists.Ensure proper rotation of all products and stocks of products - First in, First Out.Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.Check that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.Reading order dockets and preparing food promptly, according to customer preferences.Tracking the components of each meal to ensure that it is prepared in line with the recipe book.Tracking inventory to ensure that you always have adequate supplies.Perform other duties and responsibilities & assist other team members as required or requested.Previous kitchen experience is necessary.Please note whether you are looking for a full or part time role in your application.Pay: Starting from €14.50 per hour, plus a Sunday premium of €0.50 extra per hour.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From €14.50 per hourBenefits:Additional leaveCompany eventsEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFood allowanceSick payStore discountAbility to commute/relocate:Dublin, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Application question(s):Are you looking for Full Time or Part Time?Are there any days or times you are unable to work?
