The EMEA Electronic Security Operations Manager position holds full responsibility for service delivery of customer installations and support for aftersales maintenance and reactive service for G4S Fire & Security Systems business within ROI and the EMEA.
The role is accountable for the achievement of revenue and margin targets primarily for, but not limited to, the data centre customer base, and ensuring departmental costs remain viable and within budget.
Key relationships include major contracts with blue chip clients across the data centre sector.
Working closely with the Ops Director and the installation and service management teams, contributing as a key member of the team, the position provides leadership and guidance for the operational teams, commissioning engineers and project managers
Key Responsibilities;
Responsible for delivering EMEA revenue and associated sold margin, ensuring ongoing improvements in productivity are identified and appropriate action is taken to achieve budget; and related accounts cash flow.
Budget oversight for all equipment, manpower, and subcontractor costs.
Assist in the development of the EMEA strategy and drive the associated growth action plan.
Ensure operational goals and resources are aligned.
In conjunction with the sales division, develop leads and opportunities across the data centre sector in EMEA, by establishing relationships with key contacts across the industry.
In conjunction with G4S Fire & Security's Health & Safety Manager, ensure a safe and secure working environment at all times for G4S employees, subcontractors and those employees of our customers.
Ensure all labour resources are appropriately trained and possess the necessary accreditations.
Ensure customer retention and growth by cultivating high levels of motivation, commitment and performance across all associated projects.
Monitor performance on a continual basis, providing coaching and training as required.
Establish and maintain meaningful personal relationships with key customers.
Evaluate all sub contractors employed by G4S and ensure they are performance/compliance monitored in order to maintain approval listing and deliver to standards required.
Prepare and collate detailed weekly and monthly reports in line with company standards and Operations Director's requirements.
Attendance and participation at G4S Fire & Security System's Management Meetings as required by the Operations Director Ireland.
Act in a professional manner at all times with complete integrity, compliance with regional legislation and G4S ethical values to maintain brand reputation.
On occasions issues may arise outside normal areas of responsibility for which the EMEA Security Operations Manager may be asked to assist.
Provides support and guidance to our sales team for any installation/service related matters that may arise concerning key new business opportunities.
Prepare, develop and present key presentations to knowledgeable audiences
Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration across other departments to ensure the overall success of the business.
Ensure all expired warranties, software support agreements, and any other new business opportunities are followed up on and maximised by the team.
Work with the sales team to ensure a sufficient supply of work comes in across all geographies, highlighting deficiencies and concerns where appropriate.
Foster a culture of service delivery and customer-first principles to promote retention and reorder.

Given the high value, high margin and cross regional associated risk, it is essential for the successful candidate to have a demonstrable record of delivery of similar projects for customers in the data centre sector, alongside the key responsibilities stated above.
Operations experience at a senior level within a semi-unionised operations environment delivering installation and service of Electronic Security Systems – Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV and Integrated Security Management Systems.
Excellent IT understanding with day to day working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or Google suite equivalents) First class verbal and written communications skills.
