**Job Description:**
We are seeking an accomplished and driven leader to assume the role of Assistant Manager. This individual will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of the department, supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day running.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to deliver outstanding customer service, achieve sales targets, and uphold high standards of store presentation.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales through effective upselling and cross-selling, ensuring both personal and team targets are met or exceeded.
You will also inspire and guide team members to maintain a culture focused on customer satisfaction, performance, and continuous improvement, delivering constructive feedback and managing team performance confidently.
In addition, you will take full responsibility for store operations in the Store Manager's absence, including supervising staff, handling cash, and overseeing daily procedures.
Maintaining accurate stock control, ensuring proper product display and labelling, and supporting regular inventory checks and audits are also key responsibilities.
Furthermore, you will contribute to staff hiring, onboarding, and development by providing coaching, training, and clear guidance aligned with business expectations.
A solid understanding of health and safety practices and the ability to maintain a clean and compliant store environment are essential requirements.
