Environmental Health & Safety OfficerBreffni Air - PermanentThe Breffni Air Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all Breffni Air activiities on our site comply with the project safety requirements, regulatory standards and the main contractors EHS programme.Site Safety· Monitor activities to ensure compliance with project safety rules and legal standards are met.Conduct routine inspections and create safety observations.Identify unsafe acts or conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.Ensure PPE compliance at all times.Ensure training is in place for all tasks undertakenDocumentation & ReportingMaintain safety logs, inspection reports and training documentation.Complete and submit safety reports to main contractors EHS team.Create, update and maintain companies training records.Support the creation and review of RAMS, risk assessments and lift plans.Training & CommunicationConduct toolbox talk and safety briefings for all on site.Communicate safety expectations to supervisors and workers.Participate in main contractor coordination meetings and audits.Incident ManagementRespond to incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.Assist with incident investigation's and corrective action plans.Compliance and CoordinationEnsure compliance with site procedures including permits, LOTO, hot works and electrical safety.Coordinate with other trades to reduce risk exposure on site.Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, work at heights and energised work.QualificationsNEBOSH General Cert in H&S or equivalent.Effective communication with all levels of disciplines.Strong documentation and organisational skills.Apply with your CV to Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
