Harrington Civil Engineering are now recruiting for the following positions to join our team on a fixed term and full time basis in the West of Ireland. Tarmac Operatives Paver Operatives Roller Operatives Key Objective The successful candidates will have full responsibility of ensuring efficient and safe operations while onsite. Principal Duties: The laying of Asphalt and Tarmac products using the appropriate equipment. Working with and managing resources including personnel to achieve production targets. Completing both statutory and internal paperwork requirements in a timely manner. Liaising with Production and Quality departments. Meeting daily production requirements of various products for several contracts. Carrying out routine maintenance of the plant Must be flexible regarding start and finish times. Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems, and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you always work safely. Essential Experience: Be fully knowledgeable of the operation of all relevant laying equipment. Be the holder of relevant industry Tickets/Licences. Have a working knowledge of the repair and maintenance of plant. An ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. 1- 2 years of experience preferred Valid Manual Handling. Valid Safe Pass. Have a good work ethic. Have excellent time-keeping skills. Ability to work on own initiative or with a team and to strict deadlines. Flexible and adaptable.
