Lilly is constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site, including Next Generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms to improve safety, quality, productivity, and process performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
The Manufacturing & Quality (MQ) IT Associate Director for Limerick will be part of the IT Leadership team, reporting to the MQ IT Senior Director. This role involves working closely with project and operational readiness activities for the facility.
How You’ll Succeed:
* Implement solutions like MES, SAP EWM, real-time monitoring, and advanced scheduling to enhance manufacturing, laboratory, and supply chain operations.
* Lead and manage IT operational readiness from planning to execution, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and partners for seamless IT system integration.
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative environment within your IT team to meet project goals.
* Ensure all IT solutions comply with industry regulations, data integrity standards, and quality requirements.
* Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize processes.
* Adapt to a dynamic environment, stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners for effective communication.
* Measure success through technology integration, operational efficiency, and manufacturing outcomes.
What You Should Bring:
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, effective communication, problem-solving, adaptability, mentorship, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Level 8).
Additional Requirements:
Minimum of 7+ years of experience delivering successful IT solutions in manufacturing, laboratory, or supply chain environments within biotech or pharmaceutical sectors.
