Summary:
This is a short term contract position for the Christmas period commencing 1st October until 23rd December. Reporting to the Regional Manager and working closely with the Business Development Executive in South & North County Dublin, your role will be to enhance the visibility, availability and presence of the Edward Dillon portfolio within your designated account base. You will be given training and guided by the Business Development Executive.
Key Responsibilities of the Contract Christmas Merchandiser:
· Within both the off-trade and wholesale trade channels, service all designated accounts to the agreed call frequency and on the scheduled day of call (your journey cycle is subject to change in the weeks up to Christmas and is based on demand).
· Achieve merchandising / display objectives as agreed for the designated accounts.
· Place promotional materials as agreed by supervisor / local Business Development Executive.
· Be proactive to competitor initiatives.
· Complete weekly reports and return in a timely fashion.
Expected Profile of the Successful Candidate:
Experience:
· A full clean driving licence. A vehicle will be provided.
. Experience desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
· Flexibility in working hours (closer to Christmas some weekend work may be expected).
· Neat, clean appearance with good interpersonal skills.
· The ability to deal in a professional and courteous manner with our customers.
