About the RoleThis role involves providing guidance and support on all EHS requirements to colleagues and service providers, conducting regular inspections, and maintaining a strong on-site presence. You will drive continual improvement to uphold ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO50001 standards while supporting wider EHS initiatives across projects and departments.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote a strong EHS culture across all functions and with external contractors.Oversee contractor works, review RAMS, and support ongoing engineering and sustainability projects.Conduct inspections and internal assessments, identifying improvement opportunities across EHS, GMP and operational excellence.Lead investigations and ensure robust corrective and preventive actions are implemented.Provide EHS expertise and support for risk management, compliance, and training activities.Support site emergency response and ensure compliance with all EHS, GxP, and regulatory requirements.Experience & QualificationsLevel 7 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related field.3+ years' EHS experience, ideally within pharmaceutical or biopharma environments.Strong technical and practical EHS knowledge, particularly within small molecule/API settings.Proven track record of driving EHS excellence with strong problem-solving and communication skills.Flexible, collaborative, and proactive approach with the ability to work independently or in a team.
