A proactive and varied role for a competent and experienced Energy Specialist, with responsibility for working with colleagues/departments across the business to provide energy related services to clients, while also maintaining the company's ISO 50001 certified Energy Management System. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards and reporting on same.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage energy/utility usage across the Sensori property portfolio ensuring that live data is collected and monitored on a suitable digital platform
* Monitor energy usage and efficiency across the business, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and implement sustainable practices across the company
* Maintain the company's ISO 50001 certified Energy Management System, conduct internal audits, and act as a main point of contact during external audits
* Provide technical assistance on energy related topics at tender and pre-construction stages
* Support facilities management and project delivery teams with energy related tasks & projects for clients
* Conduct energy reviews/audits on client sites and compile technical reports on their energy use and efficiency. Identify improvement opportunities and develop these into a stream of project work
* Prepare and implement Energy Management Plans and systems for clients
* Understand and apply current and proposed Energy, Environmental & Sustainability related legislation
* Assist clients with energy and sustainability objectives e.g. Circular Economy Adaptation, Climate Action Plans, Carbon Management and Sustainability master planning, GAP to BER Analysis and Equipment Lifecycle
* Always behave in a manner fitting to the business ethos and always maintain the Company's standards.
* Act as a brand ambassador as you represent the Company through its ongoing expansion

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
* Qualification (Level 7/8) in Engineering/ Building Services/ Environmental/ Sustainability or related subject
* AEE, SEAI, or ISO auditor certification
* Experience with carbon consulting and assessment of renewable technologies desirable
* Experience in design or implementation of EnMS / BEMS or other M&T systems
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the construction/M&E industry desirable
* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Excellent analytical and planning ability
* Must possess exceptional time management and organisational skills
* Highly proficient level of IT literacy
* Strong understanding of FM/Building (Mechanical & Electrical) services
* Experience in a similar role an advantage
