We're currently seeking a proactive and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Dundalk branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in recruitment or sales who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
What You'll Do
Sales & Business Development
7. Generate new business and meet sales/gross profit targets in line with KPIs.
8. Conduct client visits (new and existing), identify leads, and support proposals/tenders including fee negotiation.
9. Source candidates and contribute to sales opportunities through cross-selling.
Client Management
10. Manage client relationships, vacancies, and sites while ensuring high-quality service.
11. Gather and analyse client data (headcount, attrition, structure, salary benchmarks, candidate pools).
12. Network internally and externally to build partnerships and identify opportunities.
13. Maintain accurate records on the CRM, provide management information, conduct client surveys, and deliver presentations.
14. Offer on-call support to clients as required.
Candidate Management
15. Source, register, and talent pool candidates in line with KPIs.
16. Pre-screen, test, and prepare candidates for interviews, providing detailed client/job insights.
17. Give feedback, career advice, and negotiate offers, pay, and terms of employment.
18. Manage temp availability, spec and market CVs, shortlist candidates, and ensure CVs meet client requirements.
Quality & Compliance
19. Adhere to processes, QMS, and legislative requirements.
20. Carry out vetting, compliance, and payroll-related checks.
21. Ensure accurate CRM use and high-quality communications.
22. Support Branch Manager with recruitment, induction, coaching, and deputising when required.
23. Mentor staff across branches, share expertise, and manage own professional development.
24. Perform other duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
25. 1+ years' experience in recruitment consultancy (within the last 5 years)
or 2+ years' experience in direct sales in a target-driven environment
26. Junior Certificate
27. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills
28. Commercial awareness and resilience under pressure
29. Full clean driving licence or access to transport
Desirable:
30. Professionally accredited (REC or NRF/ERF)
31. Experience using recruitment databases
