As a Breakdown Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the engineering team and liaising with customers on equipment breakdowns and technical queries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate daily operations of the service department
* Offer technical assistance to field service engineers and customers
* Manage customer equipment breakdowns (Fanuc & Piovan experience beneficial)
* Liaise with key partners to source support, parts, and schematics
* Maintain and upload RAMS to customer portals
* Manage calibration instruments and service documentation
* Update machinery records in the software management system
* Collaborate on service schedules and contribute to operational planning
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering/manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with plastics machinery (Fanuc & Piovan experience beneficial)
* Previous experience in maintenance or service-focused role
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
