The company is known for its reliability, customer focus, and long-standing relationships across Northern Ireland.The business has grown through both organic expansion and acquisitions and continues to evolve as a leading supplier within the electrical wholesale sector in Northern Ireland.Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Internal Sales team (7 people), ensuring strong performance, collaboration, and accountability across the departmentOversee day-to-day internal sales activity, including inbound phone orders, trade counter queries, and customer service interactionsAct as the key liaison between Internal Sales, Head of Operations, Stores, and wider business functions to ensure full operational alignmentEnsure pricing updates, margin requirements, and supplier-driven changes are accurately implemented and communicated across the businessIdentify opportunities to improve internal processes, workflows, and customer responsivenessSupport customer retention and contribute to identifying opportunities for new business growth in collaboration with external sales colleaguesReport directly to senior leadership on performance, challenges, and improvement initiativesEssential CriteriaProven experience in a sales management, internal sales leadership, or commercial operations roleStrong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of margins, pricing, and supplier/customer dynamicsExperience managing or supervising teams in a fast-paced customer-facing environmentHighly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesA proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityDesirable CriteriaExperience within electrical wholesale, distribution, construction supply, or similar B2B trade environmentsFamiliarity with trade counter operations or inbound order processing environmentsExposure to pricing implementation, supplier negotiations, or margin control processesWhat's On OfferBase salary of £50,000 - £55,000 Discretionary annual bonus5% employer pension contributionFull private medical cover after 6 months21 days annual leave plus Christmas closure (without using holiday entitlement)How To ApplyTo speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Charlie Plant, Associate Specialist Consultant at MCS Group on 02896935491 .Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
