WeareseekingaSeniorBuyertojoinourSupplyChainOperationsteaminCork.Thisroleiscriticaltoensuringtheefficientprocurementandplanningofrawmaterialsforbothcommercialandclinicalmanufacturing.Theidealcandidatewillensurematerialsareavailableintherightquantity,attherighttime,andattheoptimalcost,whilebuildingstrongsupplierrelationshipsandsupportingcontinuousimprovementinsupplychainprocesses.

Requirements
KeyResponsibilities:
Leadtheend-to-endpurchasingprocess,identifyingopportunitiestoimprovesystemsandworkflows.
Managesupplierrelationshipsandperformance,fosteringstrategicpartnershipstooptimizeforecasting,purchaseorders(POs),andinvoicing.
OverseeallaspectsofPurchaseOrdermanagement,includingcreation,submission,follow-ups,updates,andclosure.
PlanandforecastmaterialrequirementsusingERP/MRPsystems,Min-Maxtools,andotherelectronicplanningtoolstoalignwithproductionschedules.
Ensuretimelyandcost-effectiveprocurementofmaterialstosupportclinicalandcommercialmanufacturing.
MaintainaccurateitemmasterdatainSAP,ensuringup-to-daterecordsandcompliancewithinternalstandards.
Preparesupplierperformancescorecardsandconductregularreviewmeetingswithsupplierstocommunicateforecastsandproductionneeds.
MonitorsupplierKPIs,escalatingissuesandrecommendingcorrectiveactionstomanagement.
Handleadministrativetaskssuchasprocessingreturnstovendors(RTVs)andresolvingPOorinvoicediscrepancies.
Scope:
Responsiblefortheprocurementandplanningofrawmaterials,collaboratingacrossteamstoensuretimelymaterialavailabilitythatmeetsqualityandcosttargets,whilesupportingstrategicsupplierrelationshipsandsupplychainexcellence.
Qualifications&Skills:
Provenexperienceinprocurement,materialsplanning,orsupplychainoperations,ideallywithinbiotech,pharmaceutical,ormanufacturingenvironments.
StrongexperiencewithERP/MRPsystems(SAPpreferred).
Excellentanalytical,organizational,andproblem-solvingskills.
Strongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementabilities.
Abilitytothriveinafast-paced,cross-functionalteamenvironment.
